Message You will need to eliminate the vacuum line that feed the EGR, plate up the nozzles that fit into the bottom of the plenum, cut off the tubes that feed the EGR tubes that go into the bottom of the plenum and plug them (I clamped them closed and filled the insides with JB weld), loose the actuator and plug the vacuum line that feeds the EGR actuator (aka, put a rubber nipple on the vacuum line that used to feed actuator located on the balance tube).

When you finally pull the engine you can eliminate it fully. 300degree (a site sponser) sells a good EGR kit. You can use the 2 plates on the lower plenum but won't be able to use the final plug bolt that will fit on the driver's side manifold.

That in a nut shell is a poor man's bypass. I believe I posted a pic showing how to do it. Either under my posts or Barbiecar's posts, since I did the bypass on his car sometime ago. I'll see if I can dig it up. I know it's not in the VTF though....either in technical or general.
